I was gifted this app and absolutely adore it. I have used it literally 5 nights out of the past 7, and made something completely different every night. It really has helped me get more creative with our nightly meals- I can make risotto now! The videos are very helpful, but the most useful for me are the written steps thta I can scroll through whilst preparing them- they are laid out clearly and you really can get these amazing meals done in a short amount of time. Last night I made the Orchiette and Brocolli dish with some sausage and my boyfriend was shocked that it took less time than a cardboard pizza from the freezer. "I would pay for this in a restaurant" he said. One night herbed pork and lentils, the next night Szechuan stir-fry, such a great variety. The shopping list is very useful- I went through all the recipes and found what I wanted to make, different "types" of dishes every night, and was able to stroll through the farmers market and the grocery store just ticking them off one by one. The ingredients required for the recipes are nothing "fancy" nor expensive, the major expense is in the quality of meat you prefer, the rest are things that last a while in the pantry, or are fresh produce that can be used in multiple recipes. Also very helpful is the ability to portion many of the recipes for either 2 or 4 people. I cannot recommend this app enough, I truly hope other people try it- just for the risotto alone! Love it, thank you Jamie.
